Degenerative Joint Disease

Approximately eight months ago, I was advised by two veterinarians to euthanize my 11-year-old dog, Bear. I was devastated. Even though Bear was diagnosed with severe degenerative multiple joint disease and could walk only with great difficulty, he still had a strong will to live. I sought out a facility that would be able to rehabilitate him, and that is how I found the IVC.

Dr. Beebe put him on a rigorous program - changing his diet, supplements/herbs, and an exercise program. We were then able to reduce the high does of Deramaxx he was on, and within the first week I started noticing changes in his mobility and energy level. Those changes continued for several weeks. He still never ceases to amaze us with how well he is doing. I am convinced that without all of the recommended changes, Bear would not be here today living a much more comfortable existence.

Today, Bear's maintenance consists of acupuncture on a regular basis and at-home care consisting of daily stretching, treadmill, and herbs.

In addition to the degenerative diseases, Bear had been suffering from inflammatory bowel disease for three years prior. Dr. Beebe put him on some herbs and he has never shown any symptoms since.
